The University of Wyoming football program announced its 2014 summer youth camp dates on Wednesday.  New head coach Craig Bohl and his staff will direct one Team Camp session and two Individual Camp sessions in June.  Bohl and his staff come to Wyoming after leading North Dakota State to the last three consecutive NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) National Championships.  All 2014 summer camps will be held on the University of Wyoming campus.

The Cowboy coaching staff will offer a Team Camp for high-school teams on Thursday-Saturday, June 12-14 in Laramie.  That Team Camp will be followed by two Individual Camps. Session 1 of the Individual Camp will be held on Monday-Wednesday, June 16-18, and Session 2 of the Individual Camp will be conducted on Sunday-Tuesday, June 22-24.  All Team and Individual Camps are for Grades 9-12 in high school.

Details on all the camps and how to register are available at www.wyofootballcamps.com. If you have further questions, the main contact for the camps is Gordie Haug, UW Football Recruiting Coordinator and Camp Director.  Haug may be reached at: ghaug@uwyo.edu, by phone at (307) 766-3208 or by fax at (307) 766-5061.

The Cowboy Team Camp will offer high school teams the opportunity to be coached individually by the University of Wyoming coaching staff, as well as have time to conduct team practices and play in multiple scrimmages.  Time will also be set aside for team meetings.  The Team Camp is a full-padded, full-contact camp.

Both Individual Camp Sessions will be coached by the entire UW football staff, as well as over 20 of the top college coaches from all three NCAA Divisions of college football. Instruction will be provided on specific techniques for each football position.  The Individual Camps are half-padded, contact camps.

The Cowboy coaching staff is dedicated to hosting the best high school football camps in the West. All of Wyoming Football Camps will be held at the University of Wyoming football facilities, including: War Memorial Stadium, which features a new state-of-the-art FieldTurf playing surface; the Indoor Practice Facility, which contains a full-size, 100-yard artificial surface football field; and five outdoor grass practice fields.

Each of the 2014 Wyoming Football Camps will provide: advanced exposure to all levels of college football; exposure to the Cowboy Philosophy, as over half of the current Cowboy team will participate in the summer camps; and personal instruction by the best coaches in the area.

Camp fees to the Team Session are: Commuter - $160; Resident - $200.  A commuter is a camper who declines UW lodging.  A resident is one who uses UW lodging while attending camp.

Camp fees to the Individual Sessions are: Commuter - $210; Resident - $240.  Again a commuter is a camper who declines UW lodging.  A resident is one who uses UW lodging while attending camp.
