The Wyoming Department of Health has announced that new cases of Monkeypox have been identified in Wyoming; both in Campbell County and in Natrona County.
None of the patients in the ICU or on the ventilator over the last two weekly reports from the hospital has been vaccinated, and only one patient in the weekly report the week prior to those reports had been fully vaccinated.
On its Facebook page on Thursday, the department published a CDC graphic showing the ratio of COVID infections between unvaccinated and vaccinated people in the United States is 17:1.
The agency announced new recommendations Tuesday that even vaccinated people should return to wearing masks indoors in parts of the U.S. where the coronavirus is surging.
7 new deaths have been confirmed by the Health Department over the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of Wyoming deaths to 328. Of these deaths, 63 have occurred in Natrona County.
