Investigators learned Jessiman may have fled first to Colorado and then to western Nebraska.

Harwood was wanted on a warrant for revocation of his federal probation.

The two suspects were taken into custody without incident in the Riverton Walmart parking lot at about 5:20 p.m.

Law enforcement has not explained why a call went out on the Wyoming Highway Patrol dispatch about a shooting in Douglas 12 minutes before the Converse County Sheriff's Office received the call.

The U.S. Marshals Service is in charge of the investigation, and it will provide no further comment on the incident.
