Mayor Ray Pacheco said the Casper City Council looks forward to working with Eric Nelson as City Attorney.

Casper's attorney John Henley was given a send-off by each council member and a plaque from Mayor Ray Pacheco at its meeting on Tuesday.

Officer Jacob Carlson spent about a month in the Wyoming Medical Center.

As of Tuesday evening, no lawsuit had been filed, according to the pacer.gov federal court database.

John Henley replaces former City Attorney Bill Luben.
