Hometown Heroes

Casper Fire-EMS recently announced that a group of everyday Casper citizens saved a man's life.

Each of these people have impacted the community in their own ways, both big and small and, for that, the powers-that-be with the Ford Wyoming Center and the College National Finals Rodeo wanted to take a moment to honor them, these 'Hometown Heroes.'

Bret Michaels' brought the rock and roll party recognizing local active military, veterans, teachers, and first responders to the Casper Events Center Wednesday night.

The Hometown Heroes Tour is in full swing at the Casper Events Center and these heroes got to go backstage to meet Bret Michaels.

Jake entered the Marine Corps immediately following high school graduation while living in Salt Lake City, UT. He had actually joined the year before following his junior year, fulfilling his 12 year desire to be a Marine.

A modest young man, Zachary would never admit his accomplishments and in the true spirit of a soldier simply believes he is doing his job.
