Flood Watch

In Fremont County, the Weather Service says a flash flood warning is in effect southeast of Lander.

Don't walk through flood waters. It only takes 6 inches of moving water to knock you off your feet.

The Flood Watch remains in effect until further notice.

The storm could produce gusty winds -- there's a 2% chance of tornadoes in the Casper-area. Severe hail will be the size of a quarter or bigger in Central Wyoming.

Severe thunderstorms are possible in the southeastern portion of the state with the greatest risk coming between 3 and 9 p.m.

The watch is from Saturday night through Sunday night.

Up to one and a half inches of rain will add to the snowfall runoff and may cause flooding.

Watch to include a portion of central Wyoming...including Natrona County lower elevations.

Flood Watch is in effect from noon today through next Tuesday morning for the city of Casper and the lower elevations of Natrona County. Beginning July 1st the default speed limits on all state roads, including unpaved roads, will change.
