The baler building at the city's solid waste facility, 1886 Station Road, is currently closed during an expansion project.

The balefill will be closed on Thursday. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Crews at the landfill will monitor the situation for the next three days by constantly turning the yard waste and pouring water on it.

Keep oil and grease out of the drains.
