A low pressure system and cold front will approach far western Wyoming today, while high pressure remains settled over the rest of the state.  As a result, gusty to windy conditions will be found throughout the entire state.  The highest winds will occur across central and southeastern Wyoming.  Wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph will be common, but there could be some occasional gusting up to 60 mph along I-80 (Cheyenne to Rawlins).  Expect thickening clouds and colder temperatures throughout western Wyoming today, with highs in the 30's.  Light snow will develop in the western mountains today and there will also be a small chance for flurries or light snow later this evening and overnight along lower elevations of I-80 (Utah state line to Arlington).  Elsewhere, expect partly to mostly sunny skies, unseasonably mild temperatures, and mainly dry conditions.  Highs will be in the 40's and 50's.  Our latest weather system and cold front will quickly move out of the region on Saturday.  We will see increasing sunshine, breezy to gusty winds, and significantly colder temperatures for the start of the weekend.  Expect warmer and mainly dry weather conditions for the end of the weekend and the start of next week, but high winds will be in the forecast statewide.  Expect wind gusts between 50 and 65 mph at times starting late on Sunday and lasting through at least Tuesday.
