Come for the brew stay for the bull. You may know that catch phrase from the annual Brew Fest in Saratoga. It's in its 16th year this year and happens this Saturday as breweries from across the state compete for the Steinley Cup.

"Typically we have around 7, 8 breweries. They're all Wyoming breweries. This year we have ten coming so we're very excited about that. It's hopefully gonna be our biggest year yet."

Saratoga Chamber Representative, Mary Jo Best, says they feature Amber ale this year and they'll also have a root beer competition along with a chili cook off and craft fair.

"The other neat things is there's gonna be live music, a band from Laramie called High Plains Tradition. They're a blue grass band. "

Flooding issues in and around Saratoga means the venue is moved. She says they'll be holding the Brewfest at Kelly Glode Park just off of Hwy 130 near the Museum on Constitution Avenue.

The Saratoga Bullfest happens that same day and features all Bullriders starting at 7 pm at Buck Springs Arena. Admission for the Bullfest is a separate 10 dollar admission.  Admission to the Brewfest, Best says, is a well spent 20 bucks, " that 20 dollars is gonna buy you the beer that your gonna drink there. You'll get a mug and you can taste all the beer there. That 20 dollars also includes chili cook-off, being able to go to the craft fair, and being able to listen to the live music. So its a lot of bang for 20 dollars."

Both the brew and bullfest are free for kids 12 and under.
