We will be in between weather systems during much of the day.  This will keep skies sunny to mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry.  Winds, however, could be strong at times throughout southeastern Wyoming.  Expect wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph at times.  Temperatures will be cool and near or slightly above normal statewide.  Daytime highs will remain in the 30's and 40's.  An Arctic cold front and weather system will approach the state of Wyoming tonight, which will cause clouds to thicken statewide.  Snow showers will develop in western, northern, and central Wyoming by early Christmas morning.  Snow will then be likely statewide by the late morning hours and continue for the rest of the day.  Light to moderate snowfall will be likely across lower elevations, while heavy snow is expected over higher elevations and the state's mountains.  Hazardous travel conditions (reduced visibility, areas of blowing snow, and slick, icy and snowpacked roads) will be likely across all roads, including I-80, I-90, and I-25.  Daytime highs will occur early in the day and will then fall rapidly throughout the rest of the day.
