CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) — The company that insured the Hitching Post in Cheyenne accuses the Wyoming hotel's owners of conspiring to burn the property to collect $13.6 million in insurance money.

National Surety Corp. made the accusation in a lawsuit filed in federal court last week against CJM Hospitality LLC.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reported that none of the owners or investors listed in the lawsuit could be reached for comment.

A fire in September 2010 destroyed the landmark hotel's main building.

Investigators concluded the fire was intentionally set. No one has been arrested and the investigation is continuing.
