One person was taken to the hospital after crashing his vehicle into a house in Casper.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol, at around 12:30 Friday morning December 16th, a Casper Police Officer noticed a dark colored Toyota Tundra traveling east-bound on CY Avenue near Poplar Street, at a high rate of speed.

The officer then followed the Toyota, which turned east-bound onto 13th Street.

Once the police lights were activated, the driver of the Toyota...a 22-year old male, hit the accelerator and tried to flee.

The patrol says the speed of the Toyota was in excess of one-hundred miles per hour during the chase.

When the Toyota reached the intersection of 13th and McKinley Street, the driver tried to make a left turn, but because of the momentum, he ended up crashing into a house at 12-45 McKinley Street.

The driver was taken to the Wyoming Medical Center for minor injuries.

The Highway Patrol is waiting on blood test results to determine whether any charges will be filed.

No one inside the house was injured.
