This is the 20th year for the Central Wyoming Rescue Mission, a homeless shelter and residential recovery program on Casper's North Park Street. In a Friday interview with CWRM Executive Director Carl Wolosin, he summarized their mission since 1991.

Community kitchen, too:

"We've serve 650,000 meals; we've filled our beds 370,000 times; that's like housing Casper seven times over in the 20 years, and we've literally served over 20,000 people in those 20 years. We have significantly touched the lives of people here in central Wyoming, and we see ourselves as a blessing to the community. People don't have to hang in libraries, sleep under bridges, sleep in bushes. They can chose to do that. The mission is very clean and neat. There's no Jukuzi suite, but the reality is we work very hard to make it pretty and inviting, and it's a place where people can come who are broken, and get a whole new start in life."
