Man Arrested After Allegedly Recording a Video of his Wife at a Tanning Booth

A man was arrested in Casper yesterday after he allegedly recorded a cell phone video of his wife changing her clothes at a tanning booth.

Wayne Lee Schmidt was arrested after his wife allegedly found photos and videos of herself on Schmidt’s cell phone.

According to the police affidavit, on June 2, Schmidt held his cell phone over a dividing wall at Suntan USA and recorded video of his wife changing her clothes.

The next day, Schmidt allegedly placed his cell phone in her car and recorded video of his wife in an attempt to catch her cheating on him.

The couple married 11 years ago and separated shortly after, but they never filed for a divorce.

Schmidt could face charges voyeurism and stalking.
