Glenrock and Kemmerer were both searching for a must needed win on Friday night at the "Rock" As it turned out, the defenses gave a spirited effort with offensive yardage hard to come by. Kemmerer opened the scoring in the first half with a 3 yard run for a touchdown Aq Martinez to give the Rangers a 6-0 lead

But Glenrock's Aiden Oroczo returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown as be broke through the first wave of defenders and turned on the jets to the end zone. The 2 point try was good giving the Herders an 8-6.

Glenrock came up with more than a few defensive stops in the red zone and finally scored an offensive touchdown in the 4th quarter as Kade Guenther galloped 80 yards for the score. The Herders had to make one last defensive stand with Kemmerer inside the 10-yard line to preserve a 16-6 win. Glenrock gets to 2-4 in 2A play and will host Thermopolis this week. Kemmerer is 0-6 and will host Mountain View on Friday.
