After seeing the Casper community support the Casper Spuds this summer, I'm excited to see how much support the Warbirds will receive.

If you haven't heard, the Warbirds are the new hockey team in town. They're part of the Mountain West Division of the NCDC (National Collegiate Developmental Conference), a tier 2 hockey league that helps develop players for a college hockey career. The players are between 17 and 20 and are at the stage of life where they prepare for their future and will do so here in Casper.

On the team's website, you can buy tickets for the upcoming season, beginning in September. Casper Warbirds.com. You can also learn more about the team, the players, future opportunities, and the season's schedule.

If you're looking for a job, there are opportunities for you to work with them, too.

On Tuesday, August 6, they're holding open interviews for multiple positions with the team. All you'll need to do is have a resume and show up to the Casper Workforce Center between 1-3 pm

Interested in working for the Warbirds? We have several open positions we need to fill! On August 6th from 1-3 pm, we'll be at the Casper Workforce Center conducting drop-in interviews. Bring your resume and talk to our hiring representatives about taking part in this awesome work opportunity!

The Warbirds season lasts from September until March, giving you plenty of chances to visit the Casper Ice Arena, cheer on the team, and watch some fun hockey.

Get to the website now to see the schedule and learn more about the team.
