Exciting New Options Coming To EKW State Park This Summer
Summer is just around the corner, and you're planning your family vacation. There's a new option available right here in our backyard at Edness Kimble Wilkins State Park.
If sleeping under the stars, in a tent, or on the hard ground isn't your idea of a good time, this is right up your alley. The cabins we've been waiting for at EKW State Park are ready to be rented, giving your family a great glamping experience.
The park has seven cabins and group shelters available for rental from May 1 - September 30.
Cabins include fire ring and 6-7 pieces of wood, picnic table, bunk bed in bigger cabins, bed in smaller cabins, mattresses, small fold out half-table, four chairs, coat hanger, foot brush, window blinds, push light, keyed door code, accessible entrance on bigger cabins, potable water spigot within walking distance, assessible vault toilet restroom within walking distance.
The cabins lack electricity, running water, internet, bedding, or pillows. Think of them as stationary tents that keep you out of the elements and give you a comfortable place to sleep. So, plan to bring water, bedding, and other accessories with you.
These cabins are perfect for those looking for the outdoor experience with many of the comforts of home.
The rates for the cabin rentals start with the basic $10 per night overnight camping fee. Cabin rental fees, daily use fees, and lodging taxes are included when renting a cabin.
Wyoming state residents can rent the cabins as early as 120 days before arrival and non-residents as early as 113 days before.
