Hogadon Ski Conditions Slowly Improving After Snowfall
Despite a slow start, officials with Hogadon Ski Area say skiing and snowboarding conditions are gradually improving after snowfall late last week.
The resort opened its popular “Boomerang” run over the weekend.
Anna Wyttenback, a spokesperson with the city of Casper’s Leisure Services Department, says persisting early season conditions still exist, however.
“We’ve got a 6-inch to 14-inch base right now,” Wyttenback said. “Early season conditions let skiers know to be cautious – some areas may not be as deep or as thick as others.”
Currently three of the resort’s 24 runs are open. Skiers and snowboarders can visit Hogadon Ski Area’s website or call (307) 235-8369 for condition updates.
