The administrator of the Small Business Administration, Linda McMahon, was in Casper on Tuesday to honor a local business, and spread the word about the administration and it's range of services.

She visited the Rootz Spa and Salon, a local business run by David Anderson, who benefited from the advice and financial support of the SBA.

But McMahon says, most people don't realize the range of assistance the SBA can offer besides monetary loans.

"How to start a business," she says, "access to capital, how to form your business plan, your marketing plan, help with your web design, sometimes to tell you you don't have a really good idea that's scalable for a business. I think that's all almost as important as access to capital."

She then toured the Wyoming Contractors Association Regional Training Center on Bryan Stock Trail.
