The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services did not release September state employment figures this week, citing issues associated with the recent partial shutdown of the federal government.

The agency was scheduled to release the report on Tuesday.

Officials say needed data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wasn’t gathered during the shutdown. BLS also didn’t issue any reports or respond to public inquiries.

DWS says it will release its new report when updated information becomes available.

The monthly report highlights labor force data, state unemployment rates and non-farm employment rates.
