A Casper solider has returned home after a nine month tour in Afghanistan.

Chief Warrant Officer Deborah Harlow was greeted by family, friends, Casper residents and veterans Thursday morning at the Casper-Natrona County International Airport.

Harlow said she was thrilled to see her loved ones again.

“This welcome home was fantastic,” Harlow said. “It’s great to have the veterans and the Casper public come out to say thank you and to have my whole family supporting me and being here.”

Harlow is an Army helicopter pilot with nearly 15 years experience. She has served previously in Columbia, Iraq and twice in Afghanistan.

Harlow left for her most-recent tour of Afghanistan on Dec. 5.
