Fort Caspar Museum has opened a new exhibit: Artists Look at Local
History: Selections from the Museum Collection. These pieces from Fort Caspar Museum’s own collection depict scenes from central Wyoming’s history. Topics include American Indians, emigrants following the trails, the frontier army, ranching, the landscape, and the community’s development. This exhibit offers an opportunity to gain new perspectives on familiar scenes and topics. Artists Look at Local History is open through March 26, 2011.  Artists featured in the exhibit are

During the holidays, the Museum is open Tuesday – Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Museum will be closed from December 24th – 27th and from December 31st – January 3rd. The Museum’s regular hours resume on January 4th, Tuesday - Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Admission fees are: Children 12 & Under are FREE, Youth 13-18 are $1.00 and Adults 19 & Over are $1.50.
