Arrest Warrant Issued In Fatal Bicycle Case

Police can now go after the driver, who struck and killed a bicyclist in downtown Casper.

Lieutenant Mike Thompson of the CPD says an arrest warrant has been issued, for the driver of the SUV, who hit and killed 39-year old Matthew Harker, while he was riding his bicycle, at the intersection of First and Beech Streets in late May.

The identification of the driver and the details of any charges that he/she will face have not yet been released, but should be when he/she is arrested and has had an initial hearing in court.
