Fog will quickly diminish across the far southeast corner of the state through the late morning hours today.  As soon as that sun comes out, temperatures will rise into the upper 70's for many locations.  Winds will be lighter today, and not as gusty through the afternoon.  The best location for late-day developing thunderstorms will be across the far east and southeast portions of the state.  Thunderstorms that develop in this area have the potential for becoming strong to severe, with gusty winds, downpours and hail.  There will be a slight chance for weak tornadic activity southwest Nebraska after 2 PM today.
