A ridge of high pressure remains settled over the state of Wyoming today.  This will keep skies sunny to mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry for much of the day.  Temperatures will also be very mild and about 20 to 30 degrees above normal statewide.  Daytime highs will stay in the 40's and 50's across the western mountains and valleys, while 50's and 60's are expected in central and eastern Wyoming.  A strong cold front and weather system will approach the state tonight, which will cause light snow to develop by early Saturday morning across far western portions of the state.  Expect thickening clouds, breezy to gusty winds, and cooler temperatures throughout the state on Saturday.  Snow showers will continue across western Wyoming during the day and will then develop for the rest of the state in the late evening and overnight hours.  Reduced visibility and slick, icy roads will be possible on Saturday across I-80 (Utah state line to Rawlins) and WY-28 (near South Pass).  Hazardous road conditions (slick, icy, and snowpacked roads) will be likely along I-80 (Rock Springs to Arlington) and WY-28 (near South Pass) after 9 PM as snow showers intensify.  Snow showers will be possible throughout Wyoming by Sunday morning and will continue for much of the day.  Expect reduced visibility at times with slick, icy roads statewide, including all of I-25, I-80, and I-90.  Temperatures will also be significantly  colder and closer to average.  We will see snow showers gradually taper off in western, central, and southeastern Wyoming by the evening and overnight, but snow will continue into Monday morning for northeastern Wyoming.
