With high pressure overhead, temperatures will stay very warm to hot across the state for the next few days.  Expect daytime highs in the mid 80s to the mid 90s with a few 70s for the mountains.

There will be plenty of sun to go around as well, along with some areas of haze due to regional wildfires.  Some clouds will build in by the afternoon and there may be a few isolated thunderstorms as well.  Today and Tuesday much of the thunderstorm activity will be in the mountains and higher elevations.
