It’s a story you heard exclusively on K2 Radio News.

Back in June, we told you about Donald Beam, the former boyfriend of Krishelle Layton, the mother of Dorian Layton, the boy known affectionately as “Ninja Dorian.”

Their relationship 3 years ago in Baytown, Texas left Krishelle pregnant with her daughter Vivian, who is now about 2-years-old.

And when she sought child support from Beam, he demanded a paternity test. And Thursday, the day that a date for Layton’s fraud trial was set, Donald Beam was in San Antonio getting the results of that test. He is Vivian’s father.

And now, he wants custody of his daughter. This comes even as Layton is fighting fraud charges over money she obtained as a result of sympathy generated by her son’s perceived medical condition.

Beam has contacted the Department of Family Services to determine his next step.
