The good news of thunderstorms continues to exist in the state.  For today the south, particularly the southeast, will once again be in line for scattered thunderstorm activity.  With the day starting out with good atmospheric moisture (dew points in the 50s and 60s), with more coming in and with enough of daytime heating thunderstorms are expected to develop later today and this evening.

As we head into Tuesday and Wednesday the mountains and the western portion of the state look to be in a better position for thunderstorm activity.  Thunderstorms will be scattered there, with more isolated thunderstorms in the central and eastern portions of the state.
