Hazy & Unseasonably Hot Today, Small Chance For Showers & T-Storms

High pressure will remain settled over the state of Wyoming for the rest of today.  Expect mostly sunny, hazy skies (due to wildfires in the Pacific Northwest) with unseasonably hot temperatures statewide.  Temperatures will stay about ten degrees above the normal for this time of year, with daytime highs in the 80's and 90's.  A small supply of monsoonal moisture will also push farther into the state.  This could trigger hit or miss shower and thunderstorm activity for western and far southern Wyoming.  Meanwhile, conditions stay mainly dry for central and northeastern Wyoming.  An upper-level weather system will slowly move across the region on Wednesday and Thursday.  A better supply of monsoonal moisture will also be transferred into the entire state during this time.  Expect partly sunny skies, breezy to gusty winds, and a better chance for showers and thunderstorms statewide.  Any storm that develops could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, lots of lightning, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Temperatures will also be not as hot and closer to average on Wednesday and Thursday.
