Icy cold temperatures have moved into the state and they will not be moving out any time soon.  The dense, very cold air mass will stay in place through at least early next week.  That means air temperatures will only make it into the single digits in most areas with overnight lows plummeting into the single digits and teens below zero at night.  Wind chills will be in the 20s and lower 30s below zero at times.

There will be some additional snow mainly in the eastern half of the state through tonight.  Additional accumulations will be light through this evening.  However, the snow and stronger winds will lead to reduced visibility.  Traveling conditions will remain poor statewide due to the snow, wind, poor visibility and icy, slick conditions.
