A strong cold front that crossed the region last night will make temperatures significantly colder today.  Scattered snow showers will be possible across the northern mountains and there will also be a chance for brief rain showers through central and southeastern Wyoming later this afternoon and evening.  Otherwise, expect mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions.  Winds will be strong and gusty today with most locations seeing gusts as high as 35 mph.  Wind prone areas of I-25 (Colorado state line to Chugwater) and I-80 (Cheyenne to Arlington) could see gusts as high as 50 mph.  Daytime highs will stay in the 40's and 50's with 30's possible in the mountains.  Higher pressure builds over the area on Tuesday, which keeps skies mostly sunny and conditions mainly dry.  Winds, however, remain strong with gusts as high as 45 mph.  Temperatures also stay cool, but close to average.
