High pressure overhead will keep the weather settled and very warm to hot across the Cowboy State today.  Temperatures will easily soar into the 80s and 90s, with a few upper 70s in the high country.  It will be slim pickings for moisture for another day as well.  Other than a small chance for a few, small isolated thunderstorms in the east this afternoon, most areas will stay dry.

More moisture, however will return to the state starting on Wednesday.  A return flow of moisture coming up from the south will combine with daytime heating to bring scattered thunderstorms back into the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
