A wind gust of 114 mph was recorded by the National Weather Service in the last 24 hours at a location in northern Wyoming.

The Riverton office of the NWS shared a list of recorded peak wind speeds early Wednesday.

The Clark monitor regularly registers higher wind speeds than the rest of the state.

The record for this date was set back in 2011, when a gust of 122 mph was recorded.

In Casper, Outer Drive registered a peak gust of 62 mph.
