Warm, Seasonal Temperatures With Isolated To Scattered T-Storms Through Wednesday

A ridge of high pressure will continue to build over the state of Wyoming for the rest of today, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Southwesterly winds will also transport monsoonal moisture into the region during this time.  Expect early sunshine with thickening clouds during the afternoon and evening hours.  There will also be a chance for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.  The best chance for showers and thunderstorms will be across eastern portions of the state.  Any storm that develops could be strong to severe and capable of producing hail, gusty winds, and brief periods of heavy rain.  Temperatures will also remain warm and close to normal during this time, with daytime highs in the 80's to lower 90's.  High pressure will remain settled overhead for the second half of the work week, but we start to lose our supply of monsoonal moisture.  Expect slightly above normal temperatures with a smaller chance for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday and Friday.
