A ridge of high pressure will continue to strengthen over the state of Wyoming today, Tuesday, and much of the day on Wednesday.  We will see sunny to mostly sunny skies and mainly dry weather conditions statewide.  Winds could be breezy to gusty at times, especially across central and southeastern Wyoming, but no significant gusting is expected.  Temperatures will also be very mild and well above normal during this time.  Expect daytime highs in the 50's and 60's.  A cool front and weather system will approach the area late Wednesday night into Thursday.  Scattered rain and snow showers will develop by early Thursday morning across lower elevations of southwestern Wyoming, while snow will be possible in the western mountains.  Elsewhere, expect thickening clouds overnight.  We will then see a small chance for rain across lower elevations for the rest of the day on Thursday.  Temperatures will become a few degrees cooler, but it will still be warmer than normal.  Rain will then mix with and turn to snow on Thursday night, but no accumulations are expected.
