Winter is here, and the City of Casper wants to remind everyone that it is illegal to store a recreational vehicle, which includes boats, camper trailers, horse trailers, etc., on the street for more than 5 days in any 30-day period.
However, due to drifting/blowing snow, poor visibility, icy road conditions, and other winter hazards, it is particularly important for RV’s to be removed from city streets during the winter months. So, the City of Casper Code Enforcement Department is asking residents to take the initiative and remove their RV from the city streets. RV’s that remain on the street for more than 5 days may receive a courtesy flyer, a letter, or a notice of violation.
RV’s may be stored on private property, but beware of any sight distance issues that might be created in doing so.
