Republican Gov. Rick Scott has alleged — without citing evidence — that elections officials in South Florida are trying to "steal" the election for Democrats.

A former Democrat who switched parties to run for the US Senate in the Republican primary has now withdrawn from the race.

Barrasso says the Dodson ads lack the required disclaimer at the end.

He had, though, originally announced in February that he would run against Barrasso as an independent.

Hardy said Tuesday that he's now an "Eisenhower Republican," referring to Republican President Dwight Eisenhower, who warned against out-of-control military spending.
