Wyoming's senior senator and congresswoman had their hopes to address the nation's financial crisis dashed Friday, when the Democrat-controlled Senate voted against allowing a vote on the Cut, Cap and Balance bill.

At a House Appropriations Committee hearing Tuesday, Wyoming's representative said the Department of Defense should be getting its energy from America's vast reserves rather than foreign sources.
