Every year Casperites gather in downtown Casper to watch the annual Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Parade. The parade is the kickoff of the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo and a sign that summer is truly here. 2014 was a banner year for the parade. The downtown streets were overflowing with smiles and waves from the wonderful Casper community.
Waiting for the annual Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Parade to get underway, we could tell that the participants were getting anxious for their time to shine in front of the Casper community.
For the last 10 years, Casper Firefighters have spent their Parade Day mornings flipping pancakes, cooking sausages and pouring juice and coffee as a way to say thank you to the community of Casper. This year is no different.

Following the Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo Parade on July 8th, the Mercer Family Resource Center is set to provide a substance-free event for families. Family Day will take place at Washington Park from 1-4 PM that afternoon.
