Natrona County Democratic Party Chairman Brett Governanti said the caucuses Saturday at the Casper Events Center show a strong interest in national politics.

There were 317 participants at the caucuses at the Casper Events Center, plus another 456 absentees who cast their votes in advance, bringing the total to 773.

Jane Sanders said the nation needs to invest in renewable energy sources but that does not mean ignoring the pain of those who have been losing jobs at the mines.

All Democratic Party county organizations hold their caucuses and conventions on April 9 to elect delegates and alternates to the state convention on May 28.
