Somewhere in Cheyenne, there's a stretch of interstate where you'll actually hit a red light — and there's a surprisingly interesting reason that's even allowed.

Northbound lanes of I-25 were closed between Wheatland and US 18/20 at Exit 126 due to winter conditions and crashes.

The number and severity of crashes that contributed to the closure were not clear.

The crash, which occurred in the northbound lanes, blocked traffic for some two and a half hours while first responders cleared the scene.
