The groups say Wyoming lacks authority to hold a grizzly hunt.

The ruling restored protections for more than 700 grizzlies in and around Yellowstone National Park.

Christensen previously delayed the hunts in Wyoming with an order that came two days before hunting was set to begin on Sept. 1.

Wyoming plans to complete its grizzly hunting draw by Aug. 2.
