At the Casper city council meeting on Tuesday, the council heard from the Casper police chief, Keith McPheeters, on how compliant certain businesses were in Casper over the past year.

McPheeters had been on patrol in the area when he saw two people get into the back of a maroon 2005 Chrysler passenger vehicle.

The candidates will be in Casper next week for interviews, but there is no timeline for deciding on a new chief.

It's a trend that has soaked the nation, and the Casper Police Chief took one for the team and made a donation to a worthy cause.
