T-Birds Split Matches in Otero Tournament
The Casper College volleyball team won 2 and lost 2 matches over the weekend in the Otero, Colorado tournament to get to 3-5 on the season. On Friday. the Birds lost to Otero in 3 straight 25-14, 25-17 and 25-15. Casper did rebound with a 3-2 win over North Platte, Nebraska 23-25, 25-15, 25-17, 16-25 and 15-5. On Saturday, the Thunderbirds ran into a tough Indian Hills, Iowa team and lost in3 straight 25-14, 25-16 and 28-26. Casper concluded the weekend's play with a 3 games to none win over Lamar, Colorado. The final there was 25-15, 26-24 and 25-20. Casper College will play at Southern Idaho on Thursday and play in the CSI tournament Friday and Saturday
