Sunny to mostly sunny skies, mainly dry weather conditions, and slightly warmer than normal temperatures are expected throughout the state of Wyoming today.  Daytime highs will remain in the 50's and 60's.  Winds will increase and become strong this evening and overnight as a cool front approaches the region.  Most locations throughout central and eastern Wyoming will see gusts between 35 and 50 mph.  Wind prone areas of I-25 (Colorado state line to Chugwater) and US-85 (Colorado state line to LaGrange) will see wind gusts between 50 and 60 mph.  High winds will also be likely tonight into Friday afternoon across I-25 (Chugwater to Wheatland near Bordeaux) and I-80 (Cheyenne to Arlington, especially near Buford, Vedauwoo, and Arlington) with gusts between 50 and 65 and some isolated gusts of 65+ mph.

Expect slightly more cloud cover with temperatures becoming a few degrees cooler across the state on Friday.  Isolated shower activity will also be possible in northern Wyoming, but we cannot rule out a passing shower throughout eastern portions of the state.  Windy conditions continue into the early morning/late afternoon hours.
