Road Impact Forecast for Tuesday, May 17 [VIDEO]

A low pressure system will continue to move across the state of Wyoming today.  Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies, areas of fog (especially early and late in the day), and cooler than normal temperatures.  High temperatures will remain in the 40's and 50's, with some lower 60's possible in the far eastern plains.  Scattered light rain showers with mountain snow will continue to be found across western and southern Wyoming, which should taper off by late this evening and overnight.  Meanwhile, conditions stay mainly dry across central and northeastern Wyoming.  Higher pressure will then build over the region Wednesday through Saturday.  However, there will be a persistent flow of moisture and atmospheric energy that is transferred into the state due to a stationary low pressure system in the west coast.  Expect partly to mostly sunny skies with only small chances for showers and thunderstorms during this time.  There will also be a gradual warming trend, which will generally keep temperatures close to average.
