High pressure will continue to build over the state of Wyoming today, Friday, and Saturday.  However, plenty of subtropical moisture and atmospheric energy will be transferred into the region due to a stationary low pressure system in the west coast.  During this time, expect early sunshine with thickening clouds in the afternoon and evening.  There will also be daily chances for isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms.  Any storm that develops could be capable of producing brief periods of heavy rain, frequent lightning, and small hail.  Winds will also remain gusty to strong, especially by Friday and Saturday.  Temperatures throughout the state of Wyoming will be very mild and slightly above normal into the start of the weekend.  High temperatures will be in the 60's and 70's, with some lower 80's possible.  Cooler and even more unsettled weather will then arrive by Sunday and Monday.
