Road Impact Forecast for Thursday, April 20 [VIDEO]

A ridge of high pressure will build over the state of Wyoming today and Friday.  Expect sunny to mostly sunny skies with warmer than normal temperatures statewide.  High temperatures will stay in the 60's and 70's.  There will be just a small chance for showers and thunderstorms in western portions of the state during this time, mainly near the Utah state line.  Winds will be light to breezy today, with no significant gusting expected.  Winds will then start to increase and could become strong at times on Friday, especially across southern portions of the state.  Watch out for some wind gusts between 35 and 50 mph.  An upper-level low pressure system and cool front will then move across the region this weekend.  For Saturday, expect thickening clouds, gusty to very strong winds, and developing showers and thunderstorms.  Temperatures, however, remain unseasonably mild.  Cloudy skies, gusty to potentially high winds, and cooler temperatures will then be found throughout the state on Sunday.  Rain and mountain snow showers are also looking likely for the end of the weekend.
