Report to Wyoming – Casper Woman Tells Her Story of Survival

Two years ago, Nina DeVore of Casper, was hiking in the mountains of Colorado with her sister-in-law when she was attacked and held at knife point. Recently, her attacker was sentenced to 134 years to life in prison for his attack on Nina and other women in the Loveland area.

Nina is speaking out in hopes that other women will hear her story and realize that an attack of this nature can happen anywhere at anytime.  She hopes that by speaking out, women will be aware of the dangers that can lurk around every corner and will take home one of her most important messages- two words that saved her own life- "fight back."
