Rain & T-Storms Expected For Northern, Central & Eastern Wyoming Today

An upper-level weather system and monsoonal moisture will continue to control the weather across much of the state today.  Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms for northern, central, and eastern portions of the state.  The main concerns will be heavy rain and minor flooding, but we cannot rule out hail and gusty winds with any storm that develops.  Meanwhile, expect a mix of sun and clouds with only a small chance for showers and thunderstorms across far southwestern portions of the state.  Temperatures will be very mild to warm and near or slightly below normal statewide.  Expect daytime highs in the 70's and 80's.  Higher pressure will then build over the region on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  This will allow temperatures to become a few degrees warmer.  We can also expect partly to mostly sunny skies and breezy to gusty winds.  There will be a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms statewide on Wednesday due to lingering monsoonal moisture and daytime heating.  Conditions will then stay mainly dry for the rest of the work week.
